SOCIAL AND PLAY
Ken Anderson Alliance strives to provide a quality of life that enables adults with developmental disabilities to develop and sustain lifelong relationships, independence and self-esteem while contributing to the larger community.
We offer a variety of social opportunities for adults with disabilities that are integral to daily life in our communities. Participants are required to be within the ages of 22 and 50. Our participants have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of social activities in the community at large and these Play activities provide social interactions while focusing on building independence in managing financial transactions and utilizing public transportation systems as well as opportunities to practice etiquette and social interaction.
We currently offer an average of 21 activities per month. Through these communal endeavors, meaningful connections are built and the unique strengths and abilities of all involved flourish. We believe that every person has a purpose and deserves to feel a sense of pride in being part of a community that seeks the greater good.
